spring spectacular

The iris are fully in bloom and I've got more varieties than I remember planting. They are a remarkable hardy rhizome that takes so little effort and propogates so quickly they were a easy quick fix for bare spots in the landscaping. I didn't do tulips again (did 350 last year). The sage is fabulous and the hummingbirds are already visiting. The cannas will be next, the elephant ears and caladiums are just starting to sprout and the water lilies are spreading fast and furiously....three buds are ready to *pop*.
