Tyler State Park
Sometime over the last year, we have become more & more active with off road bicycle riding, otherwise none as mountain biking in other parts of the country where there are actual mountains. But around here, we consider it just off-rode. There is a wonderful 13 mile trail two minutes from our house. It is one of the busiest trails in the DFW area. It's lots of fun & we all participate.
We took a trip in early October to Tyler State Park with extended family members; Lisa & Scott & their 4 boys and our brother in law Alan. It included arduous rocky, up & down slopes with spectacular scenary. After a sweaty 2 hours on the trail, we cooled off in the crystal clear lake at the park.
Just outside the park we stopped for nurishment at Bodacious Bar-b-que before heading home. Great barbeque, phenomenal chocolate fudge brownie pie. Teresa & Sean were exhausted.
