Teresa had the opportunity to visit France over the summer with some of her teachers and classmates. She had a wonderful time. Here she is at the Eifel Tower. She spent 10 days in France and had the opportunity to visit Normandy Beach the day before D-Day. This was particularly meaningful for her as she had visited the D-Day Museum in New Orleans previously and understood the history of the place. She fell in love with the French drink Orangina and was happy to learn she could buy it here. She is now in her 4th year of French and she wants to go back next summer as a chaperone for her brother Sean's class. In preparing for the cultural transition to France, her teacher warned her not to smile all the time. That was very difficult for her.
