Chinese New Year

The Chinese government announced this year that the New Year would be moved up a bit due to the bad carma that came with the 2005 Year of the Chicken...so I was running a bit behind on my plans to make a Chinese Dragon with Joan's kids...but it all turned out in the end. Here are photos of our Dragon in the making and the final product.





I'm too tired to put them in order, but you can figure them out. This hung in Joan's McMansion entry for about 6 weeks. The kids wouldn't let her take it down. The kids painted the face and tied on all the streamers. It was a very fun project.
